What is the difference between quantitative and categorical data?
Data is a specific measurement of a variable – it is the value you record in your data sheet. Data is generally divided into two categories: A variable that contains quantitative data is a quantitative variable; a variable that contains categorical data is a categorical variable.

The table represents the counts or percentages of persons who belong to a group for two or more quantitative variables. It makes easier to find different relationships between the data.
