Air Canada has adapted its cancellation policy to provide more flexibility to passengers affected by COVID-19.
If your flight is impacted by schedule changes or travel restrictions related to the pandemic, Air Canada may offer a range of options, including refunds, vouchers, or rebooking.In the event of a flight cancellation or a delay of more than three hours, for situations other than those outside our control, Air Canada offers you the option of requesting a refund for the unused portion of your ticket, or using the unused portion toward future travel with us.
Does Air Canada have free cancellation?
Reservations can be cancelled without penalty for 24 hours after purchase.
You may cancel your purchase of tickets up to 24 hours after purchase and Air Canada will provide you with a full refund without penalty.
This policy applies to refundable as well as non-refundable fares.
Can I cancel my flight because I have Covid?
In the event a traveler contracts Covid-19 before their scheduled departure date, Cancel for Covid-19 Sickness can reimburse 100% of their prepaid and non-refundable trip expenses.
