To use the AT&T MicroCellTM you will need: Fixed broadband Internet service such as DSL fi ber or cable For best performance download speeds of at least 1 5 Mbps and upload speeds of at least 256 Kbps are recommended Not compatible with satellite and mobile broadband A dedicated Ethernet port available on your modem or router |
Does microcell count towards my wireless data usage limit?
Usage generated by MicroCell counts toward your wireless data usage plan limit and may be subject to applicable charges from your ISP. The maximum coverage of the AT&T MicroCell is approximately 40 feet. Actual coverage will be limited by the density of obstructions.
How do I Reset my microcell?
Connect the MicroCell to a power outlet with the AC power adapter. If the power light is red, restart the MicroCell by unplugging the power cord and plugging it back in. When the Ethernet light is solid green, the device has a usable Ethernet connection. Note: If the Ethernet Light is not illuminated (Off) a cable may be disconnected.
How much coverage does AT&T microcell have?
The maximum coverage of the AT&T MicroCell is approximately 40 feet. Actual coverage will be limited by the density of obstructions. Calls will transfer to a cell tower if you leave the MicroCell coverage area, but calls may drop if you return to the MicroCell coverage area. See
