A system of linear equations can be represented in matrix form using a coefficient matrix, a variable matrix, and a constant matrix.
Consider the system, 2x+3y=85x−y=−2 .
The coefficient matrix can be formed by aligning the coefficients of the variables of each equation in a row.
How do you solve a matrix problem?
We can solve matrices by performing matrix operations on them like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and so on.
We have to take care of the orders while solving matrices.
For the addition/subtraction of 2 matrices, their orders should be the same.
Can you solve systems of equations with matrices?
Matrices can be used to solve systems of equations.
