Cityscapes is a large-scale dataset of stereo video sequences recorded in 50 different cities with high quality pixel-level and coarse annotations for pixel-level and instance-level semantic labeling The dataset aims to capture the complexity and variability of real-world urban scenes and to enable research on 3D scene understanding and deep learning methods |
Can a single instance of a cityscape be annotated?
Note that we do not aim to annotated single instances, however, we marked polygons covering individual objects as such. The videos below provide further examples of the Cityscapes Dataset. The first video contains roughly 1000 images with high quality annotations overlayed.
What is cityscapes?

Cityscapes is a dataset consisting of diverse urban street scenes across 50 different cities at varying times of the year as well as ground truths for several vision tasks including semantic segmentation, instance level segmentation (TODO), and stereo pair disparity inference.
