  • What does "import *" do in Python?

    In Python, you use the import keyword to make code in one module available in another. Imports in Python are important for structuring your code effectively. Using imports properly will make you more productive, allowing you to reuse code while keeping your projects maintainable.

  • How do you use the import command in Python?

    Python modules can get access to code from another module by importing the file/function using import. The import statement is the most common way of invoking the import machinery, but it is not the only way. When the import is used, it searches for the module initially in the local scope by calling __import__ () function.

    The import keyword in Python is used to load other Python source code files in to the current interpreter session. This is how you re-use code and share it among multiple files or different projects. There are a few different ways to use import. For example, if we wanted to use the function join () that lives in the path module of the os package.
