What is a CPSR? A contractor purchasing system review, or CPSR for short, is performed by the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness with which a contractor spends government funds and complies with government policy when subcontracting.
What does CPSR mean?
The Department of Defense has many regulations in place when it comes to government contracts and how contractors should manage their subcontracts.
One way to ensure compliance with these regulations is through a contractor purchasing system review (CPSR).
Who conducts Cpsr?
Who performs the "CPSR Audit"? A CPSR is not an “audit” but a “review.” Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), specifically the DCMA CPSR Group, is responsible for reviewing the contractors' purchasing systems.
