DLL can be used broadly to refer to digital technology-based or technology-enhanced language learning platforms or tools, or the practices of learning using such platforms or tools. In this paper, we use DLL in this broad sense to reflect the new developments through technology-driven methodologies, with second language (L2) learning as our focus.
