How are dynamics applications licensed?
Dynamics applications are licensed under a variety of models consisting of assigned licenses that are dedicated to a named user or device and unassigned licenses that provide access to a feature or service at tenant level. Assigned licenses provide a named user or dedicated shared device with access to applications.
Who can access Microsoft Dynamics 365 server?
Users or devices licensed with the Dynamics 365 Plan, Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement Plan, Dynamics 365 for Sales, Dynamics 365 for Customer Service, or Dynamics 365 for Team Member SLs may access the on-premises Microsoft Dynamics 365 Server software provided via dual use rights.
Does Dynamics 365 need a license?
Device: Dynamics 365 may be licensed with user or device SL, only the user or the device requires a license, but not both. If the user of a device has a user SL, then the device does not need to be licensed. Likewise, if the device is licensed with a device SL, the user does not need a license. Customers may mix both user and device SLs.
Do I need a Power BI license for Dynamics 365 unified operations?

The Dynamics 365 Unified Operations applications themselves may embed Power BI content within the service User Interfaces. This is simply a product feature, and no Power BI licensing is required to access this content.

Then follow these steps to provision the Customer portal. 1.Go to Power Pages. 2.Make sure that you're using the environment where you enabled dual-write. 3.On the Templates tab, open the Dynamics 365 tab, and select the template named Customer Portal. 4.Follow the on-screen instructions. After provisioning is completed, you can access the Customer portal on the Active Sites tab of the Home page. learn.microsoft.com
Update the Customer portal
