Morgan Stanley will be assuming the custody and clearing services provided by E*TRADE Securities. We'll keep you informed every step of the way until your transfer is complete. No action is required for the transfer to take effect, and your online experience will remain exactly the same.
What happens if a Morgan Stanley account is not verified?
The account must be verified within 10 days of submitting the request or it will expire. 3. In the event that the account is not verified, the external account will automatically be put into a “Failed Trial Deposit” status in Morgan Stanley Online Transfers. From a “Failed Trial Deposit” status, you can only delete the external account.
Can Morgan Stanley reject a transfer?
Morgan Stanley may reject Transfers, in its sole discretion, including rejections based on, but not limited to, (i) the status of the applicable Morgan Stanley Accounts, or Outside Bank Accounts or (ii) facts suggesting a possible fraudulent transaction.
