    Higher Education Commission (HEC) facilitates national research journals published by registered entities (universities or departments of faculties of such entities or registered research institutions or non-profit academic societies with a mandate for research) through financial support and capacity building to

  • How many authors are accepted by HEC?

    Maximum three names of authors are allowed to be published on the textbook and whole payment will be made to the principal author. HEC will give financial incentive Rs. 1,000,000/ at Bachelor/Master/Doctorate level textbook. HEC will accept the textbook for evaluation and funding that must have at least 250 pages.

  • What are HEC journal categories?

    HJRS categorizes a research journal into three categories – W, X and Y-- where W is the highest recognized category followed by X and Y within each subject area and its associated sub-categories.
  • Y Category: Experts groups certify that they are top, recognized journals in the subject of archival quality. Journals not having an Impact Factor They meet all HEC Journal Criteria except review of each paper by at least one expert from an Industrially/Academically advanced country in the respective discipline.
