The IELTS (which stands for International English Language Testing System according to gradinmath) is a standardized test that measures the English proficiency of non-native speakers. It was developed in England over 25 years ago.

Is TOEFL easier than IELTS?

The TOEFL is easier than the IELTS for most non-native speakers because the TOEFL has more academic questions that test-takers can efficiently study for. In contrast, the IELTS contains a daily communication style that some may find challenging if they aren’t comfortable with conversational English.
