The Kalgoorlie Operations are located in the Eastern Goldfields near Kalgoorlie-Boulder, located 600km east of Perth in Western Australia, and were acquired by Northern Star Resources Limited (Northern Star) (ASX: NST) in March 2014.

Northern Star’s Kalgoorlie Operations currently comprise of three separate mining areas, Kanowna Belle, South Kalgoorlie Operations (SKO) and the greater Kundana area. In the greater Kundana area is the 100% owned Kundana tenement package and the East Kundana Joint Venture (51% NST).
