Does hide sub-folders and files from users without permissions work?

How to hide shared folders?
1. You can hide the shared folder itself in Network Places (which is what you referred to). 2. Right below that is the option to hide subfolders and files for users with no permissions. This option works for Windows Clients as well as for people who log into FileStation. I just tested it succesfully.
