What is your favorite thing about 4th of July?
Our Favorite Fourth of July Memories. On July 4, 1776, the Continental Congress declared that the thirteen colonies of America were no longer subject (and subordinate) to the monarch of Britain and were now united, free, and independent states. Of course, these days, many of us also associate the holiday with barbecues, fireworks, parades, baseball, and other festive, beginning-of-summer activities.
What is so special about the 4th of July?
The Fourth of July is a day where we can step outside to our sunny backyards and smell the fresh cut grass and be proud to live in our country. This day is a celebration for all. You do not have to be Catholic or Jewish or Irish to enjoy this day. There is a reason we all live in this country, and now we have the chance to show it.
What are you doing for the 4th of July?
???????? The 15th annual Freedom from Pants Ride meets on the Fourth of July for "the most fun you can have on a bike, lots of friends and lots of skin." Hundreds of near-naked cyclists are barred from body-shaming, littering or setting off fireworks.
