- The exhibition organized by Tate, in collaboration with the Petit Palais, Paris Musées. Impressionists in London: Artists in Exile will be exhibited at the Petit Palais from 21 June 2018 to 14 October 2018.
What happened to the Impressionists after the independent exhibitions?
- With the ending of the independent exhibitions, the Impressionists began to leave the city more frequently in search of rural subjects. Instead of gathering in the suburbs of Paris, meeting in cafes and cabarets, many of the artists chose to relocate to countryside retreats.
