How is drum notation written?
In drum notation, the notes are written on the staff and are separated by vertical bar lines. The space between the bar lines is referred to as a “measure.” You will typically count beats while playing different notes on the drum set within each measure.- Marching bands produced sound levels of 95–122 dB(A) for base drums, 106–118 dB(A) for cymbals, and 95–113 dB(A) for snare drums.
