Peer Assessment (PA) refers to students providing feedback on other students’ assignments to help them improve their work. This feedback may or may not involve a grade. When properly implemented, PA can be a reliable and valid method of assessment.2,3,9,12,13,18,19,28,31,32,33,38.
What is an example of a group grade?
For example, 90% of a student’s grade may be based on the group grade (i.e., for the assignment product) and 10% based on their own and their peers’ assessments of their contributions (i.e., the teamwork experience).
