Characteristics of Laser Diode
Monochromaticity - Laser diodes emit a narrow light containing a single colour.
Lasers have the same frequency and wavelength.
A laser is a high-intensity beam.
Lasers are coherent - Light emitted is of a single wavelength.24 déc. 2023
Laser Diode Temperature Controllers
The laser threshold will increase exponentially with temperature as exp(T/T0), where T is the laser temperature and T0 is the "characteristic temperature" of the laser (typically between 60 to 150 °C).
Injection-laser recombination radiation is characterized by a narrow spectral bandwidth, beam directionality, and moderate beam divergence.
The beam directionality permits collection of up to 90% of the radiation by simple optics in most cases.
