RPI inflation was 6.0% in October 2021 (Index: 312.0), up from 4.9% in the year to September 2021.
Over the 12 months from January 2021 to January 2022, the Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U) rose 7.5 percent.

Food prices increased 7.0 percent over the past year, while energy prices rose 27.0 percent.
Point to point rate of inflation based on the CPI-AL and CPI-RL stood at 7.08% and 6.92% in October, 2023 compared to 6.70% and 6.55% respectively in September, 2023 and 7.22% and 7.34% respectively during the corresponding month of the previous year.
