How does a wireless weather station work?
A fully wireless Wi-Fi weather station uses integrated data storage, wireless communications, batteries, and solar collectors combined into one unit to collect weather data and usually display on a digital display.
How do I set my weather station?
If the thermometer is placed on a roof-top, make sure it is at least 5 feet above the roof-top.
If the thermometer is placed above grass, again, it should be at least 5 feet above the grass surface.
The thermometer is at least 50 feet from the nearest paved surface.- At the most basic level, an automatic weather station works by measuring atmospheric conditions and transmitting them to a network, forecaster, or display.
