PROGRAMS
The Exchange Student Program is designed for students from partner universities who want to undertake
coursework for from one to two semesters at PNU . To be eligible for the exchange program, students need to be nominated by the international office at their home universi ties. The Visiting Student Program is designed for students from universities that do not have a formal exchange agreement with PNU or that have the agreement but with a limited number of exchange openings. Visiting students can undertake coursework for one or two seme sters at PNU but need to check with their home universities regarding credit transfer. Visiting s tudents should pay all educational expenses.

The Department of Global Studies (DGS)
is undergraduate program which is also open to exchange and visiting stu dents that provides students with a challenging, interdisciplinary curriculum taugh t entirely in English and almost exclusively by native speakers. Included in the curriculum are courses in Korean and other East Asian st udies, law, international relations, history, economics , political science, human rights, culture, business, art, regional studie s, and religion. The department emphasizes classroom participation and activities, allowing international and Korean students to work together and develop lasting relationships.
