Course Description
Information Technology
Networking I covers the basic concepts of network protocols, services, networking,
various network operating systems, networking types, standards, and how data is encoded and transmitted.
Information Technology
Networking II is a continuation of topics from IT Networking I and addresses
additional networking topics, including routing and switching hardware, telecommunications media, and
career options. Students should be prepared to take the TestOut Network Pro certification exam at the end of the course.
Prerequisite Course(s)
Information Technology
Networking I requires satisfactory completion of ITF I & II. Information Technology networking II requires satisfactory completion of Information Technology I.
