It is the desire of Horizon to provide a productive learning environment that includes a safe and modest standard of dress and that

enhances our educational goals. Our Dress Code Policy (5.22) serves to help us focus on learning and teaching while demonstrating

a high standard of excellence to our community. The clothing should fit properly, be clean and not look worn. The cut and style of all

school clothing must be modest, professional, and appropriately sized, not too baggy, and not skin tight. The student should wear

the clothing in a neat and proper manner and be in-keeping with the following guidelines. The administrator may declare a limited

· All shirts must have collars. They may be button-down or polo and must be worn with sleeves.

1. Your dress, possessions, etc. may not cause a problem for anyone else.

problems for anyone.

4. If you cannot or choose not to solve the problem, staff members will impose upon you an appropriate consequence. This

consequence will depend upon the situation and the person(s) involved. Staff members will use their best judgment based on

the information they have at the time.
