Placement in mathematics courses in ninth grade is dependent upon the level of mathematics students completed in 8 th grade. The mathematics course students take in 9 th grade will determine the course sequence they are expected to follow in grades 9 through 12. Students who wish to enroll in honors courses will be expected to take placement tests each year.
