Graduates of a Carrington College certi cate program can further their education by enrolling in the Health Studies program. And, students who completed a minimum of

24 semester credit hours at an approved post-secondary

institution may also be eligible to enroll. Carrington College"s Health Studies program allows students to study online at times that t their schedules. Online learning can be a convenient way to continue your education while gaining valuable career experience. Earning an associate degree via this online degree-completion option requires 24 to 36 semester credit hours of general education courses, depending on credits transferred, that can be completed in 42 weeks or fewer. According to Nexus Research and Policy Center and the American Institutes for Research (AIR), on average, students with associate degrees earn more income than high school graduates and are less likely to be unemployed, even in harsh economic times.***

Applicants to the Health Studies Associate of Science online degree completion program must meet the following requirements:  Have successfully completed a certi cate program (at an approved post-secondary institution) with a minimum of 24 semester credit hours applicable to a health-related major or vocational program. (See chart for transfer semester credit hours/Carrington College semester credit hour requirements.)  Have at least a 2.0 GPA.  Own or have unrestricted access to a computer with reliable Internet access and an email account.
