INSTRUCTIONS:
It is very important that you select to "Enable Macros" when you open this worksheet. The purpose of this Excel sheet is to help you determine which classes you need/can take in the next class period based on pre-requisites you have already satisfied. This document does not substitute for the requirement to be advised and is not an official record keeping document. All boxes that require your input are highlighted in light orange.
Enter your Name and ID at the top of the page.
Before the next registration period starts, enter the grades for all the courses you have taken and obtained a passing grade. These should include courses previously taken and courses that have officially been transferred from other institutions. Because the registration period starts before you receive the grades for courses you are currently taking, also enter the grades you expect to obtain in them. As you enter these grades, the "Status" column will indicate which courses you have been "Credited" for, which courses you "Can Take" in the following period and which courses you are "Not Ready" to take because you have not satisfied all the requirements. The courses you can register for are those labeled as "Can Take". It is highly recommended that the courses that you register for the next period be selected from the top of these highlighted courses. If you do not obtain the grades you were expecting for the courses you were taking at the time of registration, make sure to update the worksheet and ADD/DROP courses from your class schedule if needed. It is very important that for the Core Electives (Language, Philosophy and Culture, and Performing Arts) you register in the "allowed" courses since they are the only ones that count towards your degree.
