POLLUTION INCIDENT RESPONSE MANAGEMENT PLAN

(PIRMP) BOTANY MANUFACTURING SITE As required by legislation, Indorama Ventures Oxides Australia Pty Ltd has prepared a comprehensive

PIRMP for its operations at our Botany site. In accordance with the requirements of the legislation, the

following is an extract from the plan which details:

1. The procedure for contacting the relevant authorities in the event of a pollution incident; and

2. The procedures for communicating with the community.

Indorama Ventures Oxides Australia also provides information about its operations and activities through the

Botany Industrial Park Brochure and through the Botany Industrial Park Community Consultative Committee.

Procedure for Contacting Relevant Authorities in the Event of Actual or Potential Environmental Harm

Our company is required to immediately notify relevant authorities when material harm to the environment is

caused or threatened.

We will call 000 if the incident presents an immediate threat to human health or property. Fire, Police and/or

Ambulance will respond accordingly.

If the incident does NOT require these initial combat agencies, or once the 000 call has been made, then we

will contact the following agencies in the following order. All must be notified to comply with the legal

requirements.

5. Fire and Rescue NSW on 000 (if an Emergency)

Procedure for Communicating with the Community

The location of the plant, inside the Botany Industrial Park site, is well distanced from the residential and

industrial boundaries. In the event that an emergency or event has an offsite impact, or may be of concern to residential

neighbours (e.g. loud noise, severe visual impact), the NSW Police Force and/or Fire and Rescue NSW will

engage with the local community and/or media to provide information on the event. The notification of

adjacent companies (off site) is also the responsibility of the combat agencies. Where applicable, assistance

for this activity will be provided by the Indorama Ventures Oxides Australia Crisis Management Team and/or

Media Liaison, in the event of a major incident.

Indorama Ventures Oxides Australia will assist the Police Local Area Command in the event of a major

incident. This will include updating the Police on any matters relevant to the incident in a timely manner.
