Trimming of Trees and Other Plants Along and Above

Sidewalks

...it is the duty of occupants and owners at all times to keep hedges, bushes, shrub-bery and trees trimmed as not to obstruct the sidewalk...or the view of motorists along intersecting streets

...limbs of trees shall be deemed an obstruction if they are permitted to overhang the sidewalk at a height of less than seven (7) feet

Residents are also reminded to keep all fire hydrants near their property clear of obstructions at all timesthis includes shrubbery, bushes, flowers, etc. Borough Officials are actively enforcing the Ordinance. Take the necessary steps to be aware and be compliantavoid the fine. The full ordinance can be found online at www.sevenfields.org R eminder a permit for open recreational campfires is required in the Borough. Permits are valid for two (2) weeks from date issued. Open fires need to be safely contained and easily extinguished.

No Fire is to be left unattended.

The official may order the extinguishment of such when it is a nuisance. Recreational campfires may be used in conjunction with the cooking of food. The use of fire for trash, leaf, brush, or construction material removal is PROHIBITED. Please call the Borough Office with any questions.
