What do I need to know?
Two batteries are used to power the system during battery-powered operation. The batteries are used in matching pairs and are inserted into a battery clip. The batteries require 4 hours to charge. A fully charged set of batteries can power the system for up to 10-17 hours. The on-battery power gauge on a battery uses 5 green bars to show available battery power.

When do I need to replace my batteries?
Batteries need to be replaced for the following reasons: They have completed 360 cycles. They are 36 months past the manufacture date. They provide less than 4 hours of battery life.
How do I clean my batteries and battery clips?
Maintenance Monday:
Every Monday, clean the Metal Contacts on the:
Batteries Inside the battery clips Universal Battery Charger slots (1-4) contacts
Follow these steps for cleaning:
1. Use an alcohol swab or cotton swab that has been moistened in alcohol (not
dripping wet) to clean all metal contacts.
2. Let the alcohol dry completely before using the batteries or battery clips, or
before placing batteries into the Battery Charger.
3. Visually inspect all metal contacts for damage and report to the VAD Team.
4. Clean the battery charger air vents with a soft cloth once a week. Be sure the
