of donation centers and Dell's industry leading experience in consumer recycling programs have been combined to make free electronics recycling more available. In doing so, Goodwill can now dedicate more time and energy to raising awareness about the importance of responsibly recycling your electronics.Prepare your Computer for Donation:
Some items may require additional preparation before you bring them in as neither Dell nor Goodwill is liable for data removal or protection.It is your responsibility to remove or "wipe" your hard drives prior to donation to Goodwill. We have a
very secure facility where these items are disassembled and processed for recycling, and any newer computers have the hard drives wiped using "kill disk" software ex ceeding DOD standards. Any equipment deemed unusable is recycled in an environmentally sound ma nner.How does Reconnect Work?
Your donated electronics have value. The proceeds from the sale of your donations helps supportGoodwill's purpose of "Getting People Jobs." You'll get a receipt for tax purposes, plus you'll be helping
