About the Institution

University College of Engineering

Panruti, a constituent college of Anna

University, was started in the year 2008. The

College offers five Under Graduate Full Time

courses in English medium and two Under

Graduate Full Time courses in Tamil medium

respectively. The college is situated at

Panikankuppam, Panruti Town with an extent

of 25 acres which includes excellent academic building, hostels, mess and canteen. The college is well equipped with smart lecture halls, spacious conference halls, necessary laboratories and advanced equipments for research and academic activities.

The Department of Electronics &

Communication Engineering was established

in the year 2009 with the vision of developing the department as a Centre of Excellence in

R&D, in the field of Electronics and

Communication Engineering and makes the
