2. How can you add an audio clip to your presentation?

Ans. To add an audio clip follow these steps:

Step-1 Click on the Audio drop-down button. There are two options---Audio on My PC and

Record Audio.

Step-2 Choose the appropriate option. The Insert Audio dialogue box appears. Choose the location on your computer from where you want to choose the audio file. Step-3 After selecting the file and clicking on Insert, the sound clip gets added to the presentation.

3. What is the difference between animations and transitions in PowerPoint?

Ans. Animations are the effects that can be applied to the objects in a PowerPoint presentation, such as text, graphics, images and charts. whereas Transitions are the effects that appear when you move from one slide to another and are applied to all the slides of a PowerPoint presentation.

4. What is the Rehearsal feature and how is it useful?

Ans. Rehearsal is a feature that helps you make sure that your presentation is within the decided timeframe. It is used to set up the show .we can set the timing for each slide and then use the Set Up

Show option.

5. Explain the steps to add Action buttons.

Ans. To add Action buttons follow these steps:

Step-1 Click on the Shapes drop-down arrow button in the Illustrations group on the Insert tab. Step-2 Choose the desired shape from the Action Buttons selection. Step-3 Drag the mouse to draw the shape for the action button. Step-4 The Action Settings dialogue box appears. There are two tabs- Mouse Click and

Mouse Over on this box.

Step-5 Choose the appropriate option and then click on OK.

6. Write the steps to add transition effects to a PowerPoint presentation.

Ans. To add transition effect follow these steps:

Step-1 After selecting the slide in the Slide Navigation pane, click on the Transitions tab. Step-2 Go to the Transition to This Slide group and click on the More drop-down button to see the available effects.

Step-3 Choose the desired effect and click on it.
