IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Launch of Thales's Next

Generation Cloud Infrastructure

As part of Thales"s ongoing service delivery improvements, Thales is in the process of enhancing its

cloud Infrastructure. Our Next Generation Cloud Infrastructure will provide significant benefits to STA customers, including:

Faster delivery of new features and continuous pipeline delivery through full automation of service enhancements, upgrades and testing Greater reliability, reduced margin of error and improved mean time to recovery (MTTR) in ongoing service operations and delivery due to lower manual intervention Enhanced scalability and better agility in meeting customer needs, thanks to cloud elasticity in database expansions, maintenance overheads, monitoring, and support Please note these important dates for the go-live of this project:

US Zone will launch on 5th December 2020.

US Zone customers who are using IP white

lists are required to update their white-lists BEFORE 5th December 2020. Failure to update white lists will prevent STA customers

from accessing the service after 5th December. You can get the new IP white list by accessing the Next Gen Cloud Infrastructure support page, which includes all details relating to this project.

EU Zone customers can get background and additional information on the Next Gen Cloud Infrastructure support page. In addition, we will be communicating in a timely manner changes that EU Zone customers may be required to make in Q2 2021.

In-Product Messages

Thales is introducing a new feature in STA that we"re calling In-Product Messages to help operators stay

up-to-date on the latest happenings with the service. In-Product Messages are displayed in the STA

administration consoles while the operator is logged in and only if the Data Collection option is enabled.

These messages will start appearing as early as in the first week of November. The types of messages to

expect include: Hints about product features and capabilities based on the individual operator's interaction with the STA administration consoles. Announcements to the general operator community about product changes, features, or events that may require attention. These messages are meant to supplement announcements made in this newsletter, the STA Status Dashboard and Support Portal to help maximize awareness. Invitations to provide product feedback via custom surveys based on the operator's use of the

STA administration consoles.

An example of how In-Product Messages will appear in the STA administration consoles is shown below: Remember, the In-Product Messages will only be displayed if the Data Collection option is not set to Disabled.

SafeNet Trusted Access operates on a continuous delivery model where maintenance is generally performed transparently without any notice or impact to the service. A Gentle Reminder

Customers are advised to configure their Applications/Network Devices with both STA Primary and Secondary Fully Qualified Domain Names (FQDN) instead of IP addresses, in order to achieve the

highest level of availability for the authentication function. This would ensure that authentication requests

can be sent to any of the service's data centers. In the event of a failure on the Primary site,

authentication requests should be able to reach the other data center site. For more information, please

download the Quick Help Guide for your Service Zone from our Support Portal. Login is required.

Thales Branding

The new default branding has started to roll out and the first phase is complete. You should now see the

new branding with the MobilePASS+ application, the related enrollment pages in STA, as well as the end

user-visible IDP login flows. Also updated in this phase are the agent installers, their icons, and the

relevant sections of the NPS, OAM, and Java API documentation. The next phase of the rebranding will change the default color schemes and graphics of the STA Consoles. The STA Token Management Console changes are expected to deploy late in November, followed by the STA Console early next year.

Note: Be assured that only the default branding will be adjusted. Existing branding customizations in STA

will be retained.

Anomalous Trends

The STA dashboard highlights when an abnormally high proportion of access failures is detected, helping

customers identify usability or configuration issues early. Refer to the STA product documentation for

details.

Application Sharing Between Tenants

This feature allows organizations with multiple STA tenants to share corporate-level applications across

their different tenants. Refer to the STA product documentation for details.

Access Log Filters

STA operators can filter or search access logs on the basis of application and outcome values, giving

them a tool to view the logs that are most relevant to an analysis, investigation, or support case. Refer to

the STA product documentation for details.

User and Group Management APIs Enhancements

The REST API was updated with additional endpoints to list applications assigned to a specific user, list

applications assigned to a specific group and list the group membership of a user. The latter includes

support for nested groups. Refer to the API documentation for full details. Refer to the documentation for

Delegated Password Validation

This allows the delegation of password validation to an existing password repository while retaining the

STA login experience. When enabled, Delegated Password Validation replaces password synchronization to the STA Cloud environment.

Domain-authenticated User Device

This enables customers to not require their end-users to authenticate again after previously authenticating to the company"s domain using the same device, reducing end-user friction. Apps

MobilePASS+ SDK for iOS, Android, and Windows

v2.0.1 with White Label Application MobilePASS+ SDK v2.0.1 gives customers the ability to add the full functionality of MobilePASS+ into

their own applications. In addition, we provide customers a fully customizable white-label application. This

brand new white label application will enable customers to easily build and customize their own branded

authenticator (for example, for B2C use cases).

New Major Release for MobilePASS+ or iOS, Android, and Windows -Scheduled for Q1 2021 v2.0

This release will be a natively designed app using the latest mobile technology. Customers will enjoy a

superior user experience tailored to their mobile platform and benefit from enhanced performance.

Impact on existing MobilePASS+ users:

There will be a seamless app upgrade via the app store, so users will continue to use their already installed MobilePASS+ app.

Authentication workflows will remain the same.

App design: There will be some changes in apps screens and design which we will share ahead of the release.
