Les fêtes les plus importantes d'Altea se célèbrent le quatrième week-end de septembre. Le discours, les ambassades et le dé?lé des Maures et Chrétiens remplissent les rues de musique, de costumes et de poudre. Le reste de l'année, les festivités continuent dans chacun des ermitages, la Plantà de l'arbret de Sant Joan, les fêtes marines de Sant Pere, de Santa Anna et le Cristo de la Salud de Altea la Vella, notamment les feux d'arti?ces du Castell de L'Olla au mois d'août.De grote feesten van Altea vinden plaats gedurende het vierde

Gedurende de rest van het jaar wordt de vreugde voorgezet met feestelijkheden in al haar kapellen, de planting van de Sant Joan's-boom, de zeemansfeesten van San Pere, de feesten van Santa Anna en de Cristo de la Salut in Altea la Vieja, met in augustus als hoogtepunt de spectaculaire vuurwerkshow het Castell de L'Olla.

El Baluarte conserva el trazado fundacional de 1617, con algunas de sus puertas de acceso al recinto forti?cado. La iglesia del Consuelo, construida a ?nales del s.XIX e inicios del s.XX, se encuentra sobre las trazas de la iglesia original del s. XVII, dando carácter al conjunto de Altea. Se mantienen edi?cios de la época fundacional y una muy buena arquitectura de los siglos XVIII y XIX.

Le Bastion conserve le tracé de 1617 ainsi que quelques portes d'accès à l'enceinte forti?ée. Construite ?n XIXème-début du XXème siècle, Notre-Dame de la Consolation suit le plan de l'église originale du XVIIème, ce qui apporte son originalité au site d'Altea. Subsistent encore des édi?ces de l'époque et une architecture très bien conservée, datant du XVIII et du XIXème.

Numerosos restos se han encontrado en la necrópolis íbera, como la estela funeraria de guerrero, ubicada en la Casa de Cultura de Altea. Con una envidiable oferta gastronómica, dispone de campo de fútbol y del Altea Club de Golf de 9 hoyos, además del Centro Cultural y banda de música. El PRV7 en la Sierra de Bernia hace las delicias de los senderistas, con el valor añadido del Abric Rupestre de l'Ermita del Vicari.
