FIS World Championships

The 2018/19 and 2019/20 season saw the FIS

World Championships take centre stage with

Åre (SWE) - Alpine events, Seefeld (AUT) -

Nordic Disciplines, Park City (USA) - Freestyle

Ski, Snowboard and Freeski. The Ski Flying

Championships 2020 in Planica (SLO) had to

be postponed due to the Covid-19 outbreak until the 2020/21 season. The Organisers carried out unforgettable, high-quality World

Championships that will live on in the minds

and hearts of the FIS family for a long time to

FIS Weltmeisterschaften in Åre (SWE), Alpin,

World Cups

There have been so many highlights on the

slopes during the last two seasons that it is difficult to know where to begin.

In the 2019/20 season, the FIS World Cup

series in each of the FIS disciplines had their chance to shine as the world turned their attention to focus on the respective season- long series in each of the FIS disciplines after the successful FIS World Championships the season before.

In the Audi FIS Alpine Ski World Cup 2018/19,

Marcel Hirscher (AUT) also won the overall

title in his last season and therefore counting a record eight straight Overall Titles to his countless records. The following season in

2019/20 - season one after Marcel Hirscher

- saw an exciting contest until the conclusion with Alexsander Aamodt Kilde (NOR) ultimately claiming the Overall Title.

American star Mikaela Shiffrin (USA) collected

her third career and consecutive Overall

Title in the 2018/19 season, with Federica

Brignone (ITA) becoming the first ever Italian

woman to capture the Audi FIS Ski World Cup

zahlloser Rekorde einen neuen hinzu. Die darauffolgende Saison 2019/20, also das Jahr einen bis zum Schluss spannenden Kampf um den Gesamtsieg, den Aleksander Aamodt

Kilde (NOR) letztlich für sich entschied.

The women's FIS Ski Jumping World Cup

presented by Viessmann saw Maren Lundby (NOR) crowned the Overall winner in seasons

2018/19 and 2019/20, taking her total to

three consecutive titles. Ryoyu Kobayashi (JPN) was the top talent in men's Ski Jumping, winning all the Four Hills competitions in the

2018/19 season, becoming only the third

athlete in the history of the Tournament to do so on his way to the winning Overall title too.

Stefan Kraft (AUT) finished in second place
