Have them bend over and walk around the room on all fours keeping their arms and legs straight. HOUSE INSPECTIONTake a walk around the school looking for gutters and waterspouts. Explain how they bring down the water from the roof with a big "whoosh." TRY, TRY AGAINDiscuss the Itsy Bitsy Spider"s persistence. Talk about toddlers task that require persistence, such as learning to brush their teeth, using a fork, putting on their shoes, etc.

SHADOW SPIDERS

Invite children to wiggle their fingers, like spiders, between a light source and the wall to create shadow spiders. Review the ASL sign for spider. PAPER PLATE SPIDERSGive each child a white paper plate and help children glue 8 accordion legs to it. Invite the children to use a crayon to draw eyes on their spider.
