DUBLIN TO MAYNOOTH

Dublin Airport to Maynooth

By taxi (collection points outside T1 and T2): approx. 35 minutes

- Route 22 - Dublin to Ballina - Disembark: Maynooth, 67A Terminus, Straffan Road or - Route 23 - Dublin Airport to Sligo - Disembark: Maynooth, 67A Terminus, Straffan Road There are two bus companies that can take you directly from Dublin Airport to Maynooth - the Aircoach and the Expressway. Tickets may be purchased online at the link provided below. The Aircoach picks up passengers at one of two collection points (shown below), one in front of T1 and one in front of T2. Which collection point your bus departs from will be specified on your ticket. The Expressway picks up passengers from the collection point behind the T1 car park. The Aircoach and the Expressway offer different departure times, so you may want to select your bus company and ticket based on the arrival time of your flight. It is possible to walk between T1 and T2, so if you arrive in T2 it is still feasible to catch an Expressway bus from the collection point behind the T1 cark park.

Dublin Airport to Dublin City Centre

Dublin City Centre to Maynooth

By taxi: approx. 35-40 minutes

By train: Commuter route, Dublin Connolly to Maynooth and Longford By train: Intercity route, Dublin Connolly to Sligo

- 115 - Dublin to Mullingar - Board: Connolly LUAS stop (outside Connolly Station) - Disembark: Maynooth, opposite university (stop after 67A Terminus)

- C3 - Ringsend Road to Hayfield - Board: Pearse Station, stop 399 - Disembark: Main Street, Maynooth

Heuston Station to Connolly Station

Red line LUAS - located immediately outside main entrance to Heuston Station

Toward Connolly

- Disembark: Connolly Station (final stop) or

Toward The Point

- Disembark: Busáras - Exit LUAS, cross street and turn left to find Connolly Station If you are traveling to Dublin by train from another part of Ireland, such as Galway or Cork, your train may arrive in Heuston Station. If you are then taking the train from Connolly Station to Maynooth, you will need to take the LUAS, Dublin's tramline, from Heuston to Connolly. Catch 4 the red line LUAS from Heuston LUAS stop, immediately in front of the main entrance to Heuston train station. Stay on the platform closest to the entrance to the train station, do NOT cross the tramline to the other platform. You can take the LUAS toward Connolly or toward The Point (they both arrive at the same platform). If you take the LUAS toward Connolly, disembark at Connolly (the final stop) - this will leave you immediately outside Connolly train station. If you take the

LUAS toward The Point, disembark at Busáras. Exit the LUAS, cross the street and turn left to find

Connolly train station (directions shown below).

By train: Enterprise, Dublin Connolly to Belfast City Centre, Lanyon Place 5

67A bus terminus to university

By bus: Catch Bus Éireann 115 from 67A bus terminus. This will bring you to the bus stop opposite the university (shown on map above). On foot: The university is approximately a 15-minute walk from the 67A bus terminus. Exit the terminus and turn left, continuing down Straffan Road until you reach Main Street. Turn left on to Mainstreet and continue to corner of Mill Street. Turn right onto Mill Street and continue to corner of R148 (road). Turn left onto R148. Continue down R148 until you reach the entrance to the university, which will be on the right.

67A bus terminus to Glenroyal Hotel

The Glenroyal Hotel is located directly across from the 67A bus terminus, on the other side of

Straffan Road.

Maynooth train station to university

By bus: Catch Bus Éireann 155 from 67A bus terminus. To reach the bus terminus, leave the train station and turn right. Continue to corner of Straffan Road. Turn left on to Straffan Road and continue until you reach the bus terminus, which will be on your left.
