Each kit includes the circuit breaker, mounting hardware, temperature monitoring option, support plate, cover, auxiliary wires

and stickers.

These circuit breaker kits are supplied separately for installation of batteries in cabinets not supplied by

APC by Schneider Electric.

Circuit breaker connection is different than for MGE™ Galaxy™ 5000 and MGE™ Galaxy™ 6000.

1.4 Installing the battery circuit breaker

? the circuit breaker is secured to the bottom cross-member of the cabinet structure; ? position the battery circuit breaker support and secure by means of 2 screws as shown; ? bolt the support of connector XR1 to the front RH upright of the cabinet structure. 2. Connections

2.1 Auxiliary terminal block XR1

Terminals 1 to 4 of this terminal block must be connected to the rectifier-inverter cabinet to provide the functions for automatic

opening of battery circuit breaker "QF1" (in case of emergency shutdown for example) and detection of the battery circuit

breaker position for the UPS. Details of these connections are given in UPS installation manual no. 3402084600.

2.2 Cover installation

To complete the installation of the kit, position the cover to protect circuit breaker QF1 and its connections and secure it to

the frame with the two screws as indicated in the figure below.
