Het Kinesio Taping Concept.
Dit is een van oorsprong Aziatische tapemethode, die niet alleen een stabiliserende werking heeft op gewrichten, maar tevens de spierfunctie, de bloed- en lymfcirculatie stimuleert en ondersteunt. Hierdoor wordt onmiddellijk de druk onderhuids verminderd in het blessuregebied, waardoor de bloeds- omloop en de lymfestroom zich (lokaal) kunnen herstellen. Als gevolg hiervan neemt de druk op de pijnreceptoren af en de pijn vermindert of verdwijnt daardoor zelfs helemaal.
