As exclusive tyre partner of the DTM,

Hankook has enjoyed an extremely successful

partnership since 2011 with arguably the most popular international touring car series.

The premium tyre maker has developed

various different generations of tyre for the prestigious racing series. This season, like last year, the fourth generation of DTM tyre is in use.

Thanks to the high quality of the Ventus Race,

the extreme consistency of which allows different race strategies at all circuits and offers all the teams optimal support, the title race in the 2018 season went right down to the wire at the DTM finale in Hockenheim. On the road to the finale, spectators and fans were treated to exciting and captivating motorsport, including two night races in Misano, Italy.

Hankook reached a special landmark at the

legendary Nürburgring. The 111th DTM race on Hankook tyres was held at the iconic circuit last autumn.

EXCLUSIVE TYRE PARTNER OF THE

FASTEST DTM SEASON EVER

This year's DTM calendar comprises nine

rounds. New manufacturer Aston Martin joins

Audi and BMW in the pursuit of points in a

total of 18 races. Two famous racetracks have been added to the race calendar, in the form of

Circuit Zolder in Belgium and TT Circuit Assen

in the Netherlands. Fans can look forward to the fastest DTM season of all time, as the cars have again been upgraded with new turbo engines generating over 610 hp. The reduced aerodynamics and greater engine power of the DTM cars only serve to make the Hankook race tyre even more important.

Hankook will once again

honour the fastest pit crew with the Best Pit Stop Award this season. Since the start of its involvement in the DTM, the tyre maker has presented the coveted trophy to recognise the important work carried out by the mechanics in the pit lane, which can make the difference between victory and defeat. After each race weekend, the fastest tyre change from the two races counts towards the overall standings, with points awarded using the same format as the DTM points system. FORMULA RENAULT

EUROCUP

Hankook is exclusive tyre partner of the

Formula Renault Eurocup in the 2019 season.

The newly-formed series is held on the support

programme for Formula 1 on ten weekends at iconic circuits like Silverstone, Monza,

Hockenheim and Monaco. Ten teams go head

to head, with each race lasting 30 minutes. At the end of the season, the three best drivers and the team with the highest points tally are recognised.

RACING SERIES

Full speed ahead for women - under this motto,

Hankook supports the new W Series with its

high-end Ventus Race tyre. The single-seater series, exclusively for women, comprises six rounds and is held on the support programme for the DTM. The W Series makes its debut on 4th/5th May in Hockenheim. Brands Hatch hosts the final round on 10th/11th August.

A total prize purse of 1.5 million Dollars is up

for grabs, with the winning driver receiving a cheque for 500,000 Dollars.

W SERIES

Hankook traditionally backs the rising young

stars of the sport. For years, it has supplied its high-end race tyre to FIA Formula 4

Spain, the SMP Formula 4 series, and the

F4 British Championships certified by FIA.

With the support offered by the Ventus Race,

the premium tyre maker provides talented youngsters with the opportunity to take the next step on the FIA career ladder.

ENDURANCE RACING

The 24H GT Series powered by Hankook lines

up on the premium tyre maker's high-end race tyre again this year. The world's largest endurance series comprises seven rounds on three continents and includes four 24-hour races - more than any other endurance format.

The cars involved range from compact touring

cars to spectacular GT3 racers and specials built in line with 24-hour regulations. The field is open to professional racing drivers and ambitious amateurs. In the 24H GT Series powered by Hankook, titles are awarded in the categories Champion of the Continents,

European Championship and Middle East

Championship.

The premium tyre maker is supporting the

24H TCE Series powered by Hankook for the

third time in a row this season. As exclusive tyre partner, Hankook supplies the GT4 cars and touring cars with the Ventus Race. All the well-known manufacturers - including Audi,

BMW, Honda, Seat and Volkswagen - are

included in the series, which also features the Youngtimer category. The series is held parallel to the 24H GT Series. The final round takes place in Cota, USA, from 15th to 17th

November.

Since 2018, Hankook has supplied the

Rundstrecken-Challenge Nürburgring e.V.

(RCN) exclusively with its Ventus Race slick (F200) and its wet-weather counterpart, the

Ventus Race Rain (Z207). This season, the

oldest grass-root racing series in Germany offers attractive motorsport for amateurs and newcomers to motor racing over the course of nine events on the legendary Nordschleife.

On average, more than 160 participants have

lined up at each event in recent years.

RUNDSTRECKEN-

CHALLENGE NÜRBURGRING

Hankook entered into a new partnership with

the Belcar series at the start of this year.

The renowned racing series features GT

cars and touring cars. In BMW, Lamborghini,

Mazda, Porsche and Toyota, many of the top

manufacturers are represented. The Belcar series gets underway on the Hankook Ventus

Race on 17th May in Zolder, Belgium. The

season reaches its conclusion on 19th October in Assen, Netherlands.

AUDI SPORT

SEYFFARTH R8 LMS CUP

Following its debut last year, Hankook is

supporting the Audi Sport Seyffarth R8 LMS

Cup with the standard Ventus Race tyre again

this year. The attractive one-make cup is the perfect entry-level series for professionals, semi-pros and gentlemen drivers looking to make their way in GT4 racing.

on the support programme for the DTM. There is also an outing on the support programme for the 24-hour race at the Nürburgring in

The Supercar Challenge was held for the

first time in the Netherlands in 2011, since when it has developed into a top motorsport event. Hankook is now in its third season as exclusive tyre partner and title sponsor of this attractive racing series. The diverse field sees professionals and amateurs go head to head in various different types of racing cars. Ferrari

"The performance, in terms of horsepower, is just one of several factors that affect the tyres. You also have the specifications of a turbo engine, which has a different torque curve to the V8 power units used previously.

The engine response, particularly when

accelerating out of corners, is different, as a turbo engine is far more agile than a naturally aspirated engine. That all represents a special challenge for the Hankook race tyre. Working together with the car manufacturers at the tests, we have found a good recipe for dealing with the new demands."
