Notice Inviting Tender

Tender No. BHEL/HWR/CDX/ENQ/1617-017 Date: 22/12/2016

Two part bids are invited for submission of offer for "All India Road Transport Rate Contract of consignments up to 35MT"

under following groups only.

A. Group S2 -

Transportation of consignments through truck category A-I from anywhere to anywhere in India. Group Distance Description Bill of Quantity approx. in MT-KM Lacs S2 Trucks A-I; 501-1000 Kms Small consignments up to 5.5 MT 1.035

1. All terms and conditions of tender no. BHEL/HWR/CDX/ENQ/1516-011 Dated 08.12.2015 shall be applicable for subject

enquiry. These Terms and conditions are attached herewith.

2. The bidders will submit their bids in two separate sealed envelopes along with the following documents duly signed by

authorized signatory:- The first envelope should be super scribed with "Techno- Commercial bid" and shall contain:- a) Annexure-I - Eligibility Criteria (Point no. 1 to 7, 9 and 10). b) EMD amount of Rupees Ten Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty only ( ൘ 10,750/-) in favour of "HEEP, BHEL Haridwar", payable at 'Haridwar'. c) Un priced price bid (As per attached formats for S2) d) Signed copy of NIT dated 22/12/2016. The Second envelope should be super scribed with "Price bid" and shall contain:- a) Duly filled Price bid only, as per attached format only.

3. Both (First and second) sealed envelopes then to be put

in single sealed envelope and shall be superscripted With "Tender No. BHEL/HWR/CDX/ENQ/1617-017 Date: 22/12/2016 and due date of opening on 03/01/2017".

4. Offers shall be addressed and sent to "Head of Material Management, Material Management Department, 4th Floor,

Main Administrative Building, HEEP, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Ranipur, Haridwar-249403" so as to reach

on or before 03/01/2017 by 13:45 Hrs. Offers received after due date & time shall be considered late and will be rejected. BHEL is not responsible for any postal delay.

The Techno-Commercial bids shall be opened at 14:00 hours on the same day in the presence of those bidders who

choose to be present. The price bids shall be opened on a subsequent date which will be intimated to all qualified

bidders.

The Price bids envelope shall be opened only, if the details in the first envelope are in line with point 2 above.

Tenure of Contract: - The contract for S2 group will be valid for a period from the effective date of award of Contract/LOI up to 11

th April 2017, which can be extended as per clause no. 7 of Applicable terms and conditions.

1. Every transporter has to necessarily quote rates for total Bill of Quantity; and the quoted rates are valid for total

Bill of Quantity as above or/and part thereof, failing which complete offer Bid for this group will be ignored.

2. The quantities given above are tentative and may vary.

3. Above rate shall be for normal size consignment, for ODC consignments the reimbursement / extra payments

are applicable (refer clause 2.3 of Annexure - C of tender document of enquiry no. 1516-011 dt 08/12/15).
