From the Library Catalogue homepage perform your search and in the list of results use the Refine Your Search filters to select eBooks. Locate the eBook you wish to read and click into the items record. Once in the items record you will see the option to Access: An electronic book from [Publishers Name]. Click on this link and it will redirect you to a new webpage where you should see the options to Read Online or Download the eBook. The easiest way to view an eBook is to read it online instant access and doesnt take up any space on your device. If you would prefer to download the eBook, please continue reading the instructions below. You can download certain eBooks from the University Library for between 1 and 14 days (dependent

on the publisher/provider). These are fully functional eBooks that will require a particular piece of

software to be viewed offline on either your own PC or smart device. the publisher/provider. These pages are downloaded as a PDF which can be saved to your PC or smart device for reading on or offline. (This includes eBook readers such as the Kindle). Ebrary/Proquest Full eBooks can be downloaded. A free Ebrary account is required. Visit https://site.ebrary.com/lib/alltitles/login.action to create your account. DawsonEra Full eBooks can be downloaded. Authentication through EHU network.

3. Download and install Adobe Digital Editions [http://adobe.ly/1yZzhHy]

4. Alternatively, Windows users can download and install Bluefire Reader

5. Log in to Go

6. Visit the Library Catalogue or Discover More

7. Search for an eBook that you wish to download

8. If Ebrary, enter account details when prompted

9. If downloading* full eBook (DawsonEra/Ebrary) click on the download button a.*ensure you

know where your downloads go to

10. If downloading PDF click save button and select the page range

11. Open the eBook using Adobe Digital Editions / Bluefire Reader

12. Open the PDFs using a suitable PDF reader

Tablet / Smartphone

3. It may be easier to do the above 2 steps on a PC.

4. Install Bluefire Reader from your Apps Store

5. Authenticate your device (using the Adobe details)

6. Visit the mobile version of the Library (go to library.edgehill.ac.uk from your device)

7. Find the eBook you wish to download in the catalogueClick on the relevant link to download

a. If Ebrary book, you may find it easier to have set up an account with the provider from a PC/laptop first, or at this point see link on first page. Enter details for ebrary if required to download the eBook.

8. If applicable, select the type of download (iOS, Android)

9. If applicable, follow each of the steps

10. The eBook will download to your device and open in Bluefire Reader (if prompted, use Bluefire

Reader to open the file)

TIP: To check that your book has successfully downloaded, open Bluefire Reader and open the book before you move away from your internet connection.
