The Ira M. Millstein Center for Global Markets and Corporate Ownership at Columbia Law School announced the appointment of Anne Robinson to its advisory

board. Ms. Robinson joins a group of distinguished board members with leading experience in global financial markets and corporate governance.

is general counsel of

Vanguard, and

secretary of the Vanguard funds. She is also managing director of

Vanguard's Office of the General Counsel, which

includes their Government Relations, Legal, Compliance, and Investment Stewardship functions. Before joining

Vanguard in 2016

, Ms. Robinson served as a managing director and general counsel in the Citigroup global legal department. She started her career in private law practice, and went on to serve as counsel with Deloitte Con sulting before moving to American Express in 2003. She joined Citigroup in 2014, as managing director and general counsel of global cards and consumer services. Ms. Robinson earned a bachelor's degree in political science from

Hampton University and a J.D.

from Columbia Law School.
