also focuses on integrating outside sources into essays using citation - an essential skill in academic writing. The i nformation and exercises presented will help you learn how to: identify shared language and common knowledge. quote, paraphrase, and summarize information from outside sources. add authority to outside sources, and integrate them effectively using reporting verbs.
