It gives me great pleasure to submit this report to you all in connection with this yearÕs activities and growth of London Amateur Boxing Association. As we approach a new season, it is relevant to re

I am pleased that London ABA has this season provided extensive National Championship events opportunities whilst also ensuring the London ABA name and pro le is grown through our successful team visits to Munich- Germany, Gothenberg-Sweeden and Copenhagen-Denmark these teams events were more than any other region in the country, o ering our young talented boxers international standard competition. The growth of the sport has been driven by London ABA/ Powerday Development Partnership which has now attracted resources and capital funding of over £7 Million to clubs and amateur boxing across the capital. This has been achieved through the generosity of Mick Crossman (Chairman Power day), and has ensured the sportÕs growth and bene ts have been directed to clubs through resource, capital funding and partnerships. Our commitment to partnership working has also been increased with local authority commissioned partnerships being agreed and developed through Lewisham, Haringey and Newham, these will need to be built upon in the near future, to ensure our sport is pro-active in terms of continued Developmental Support through the Region and Powerday as our main partners. Whilst recognising growth, we are also proud to celebrate success and our praise needs to be recorded to LondonÕs

Olympic representatives in this yearÕs Rio de Janeiro 2016Please be assured your opinions and suggestions are being listened to by London ABA and will be shared widely as we seek in unison to make changes and gain bene$t for Clubs, Boxers, Coaches, O!cials and Volunteers, we look forward to another great year of success and growth of London Amateur Boxing Association driven by our splendid volunteer army across the capital and in conjunction with a wide range of partners and partnerships.
