flexibility. A particular by-law number signifies three things: the SECTION, the SUBSECTION, and the PART.

For example, By-Law 3.15.5 can be found in Section 3 (Athletic Activity By-Laws), Subsection 15 (Sport

Participation and Contact - During the Summer), Part 5 (General Requir ements). Further subsections are denoted using, first, letters, then numbers, then parenthetical letters, etc. [for example: By-Law 3.13.2.a.2(c)]. Section and subsection headings assist the user in identifying the secti on and subsection content, thus facili- tating ready access to pertinent by-laws.
