Learning objectives

The aim of this course is to develop the language competencies needed for direct translation of a range

of non-specialised texts, including those reflecting linguistic variation, and to develop language competencies needed for inverse translation.

At the end of the course the student should be able to: Understand different types of written texts, with fairly complex constructions, about general topics
