warm and elegant design. The upholstered benches are suited for places where people meet and engage in conversation in a laid-back atmosphere. 12After having completed his training as furniture maker, Dieter Kusch went on to study at the Tech nical College for Wood Engineering,

where he soon showed a keen interest in design. Dieter Kusch started working for the family business in 1963, and took over the company in the second generation in 1969 after his father"s untimely death. Apart from his function as managing director, he was personally involved in the development and design of new series.

VARIATIONS

5050 WOODEN-FRAME ARMCHAIR

The gently arched wooden frame of these

armchairs is entirely manufactured from solid beech, featuring a comfortably upholstered seat pad. The side parts are either open or closed.

5060 WOODEN-FRAME HIGH-BACK ARMCHAIR

This variation features a high backrest, and

is available with the same side part options as the normal armchair. In addition, for the upholstery of the series Vega, you can choose between either elegant darts or knobs.

5050 WOODEN-FRAME BENCH

With the bench measuring more than 150 cm

in width, either two or three persons can comfortably take a seat. Available with the same side parts options as the armchair.

5070 METAL-FRAME ARMCHAIR

The armchair's upholstered pads appear to

be floating on top of the slender sled-base frame. On request available with a practical swivelling glass table top on the side, e.g. to put down a drink or a book.

5090 WOODEN-FRAME HIGH-BACK ARMCHAIR,

BARIATRIC SEATING

This special armchair comes with an extremely

stable frame as well as generous dimensions, therefore ideally suited for persons with a body weight of up to 300 kg.

5070 METAL-FRAME BENCH

Two up to three persons can take a seat on

this bench. Characterised by the same design language as the armchair, the bench appears to be floating. Optionally available with a glass table top on the side.
