The Objective of the Craft Instructor Training Scheme is to train Instructor trainees in the techniques of transferring hands-
on skills,inordertotrain semi-skilled/skilledmanpowerfor industry.Structureofthetrainingprogrammeisso designed
that Comprehensive training both in skills and training methodology is imparted to the instructor trainees to enable
them to be conversant with techniques of transferring hands-on skills andto train skilled manpower for the industry. At
present craft instructors are trained in 41 Trades and the training is conducted in 30 National Skill Training Institutes
(NSTI), 6 State Government Institute of Training of Trainers (IToT) and 12 Private Institute of Training of Trainers. These
courses are conducted under the aegis of National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT). On successful completion of
the course trainee shall be awarded Craft Instructor Training Certificate by NCVT recognized by Government of India.
A candidate trained in CITS scheme can: -
- Work as instructor in Industrial Training Institutes and impart efficient SkillTraining- As a certified Instructor, He / She can Impart training under any skill development short term and long term
scheme. - Work as training coordinators in Industries forworkers - Compete with global training in the field of vocationaltraining. - Prepare Written InstructionalMaterials (WIM) for VocationalTrainingAll India Common EntranceTest (AICET):
DGT conducts All India Common Entrance Test (AICET) for admission to Craft Instructor Training through centralized
Counselling. Online applications are invited from candidates interested to appear for All India Common EntranceTest

2. The registration facility for trainees must be available on the portal from 19.07.2021 to 02.08.2021
3. The hall ticket can be downloaded from the websites from 09.08.2021 to 16.08. 2021. The last date
for receiving application is 02.08.2021 (till 5.00PM). Candidates can give online MOCK test for online
examination from 09.08.2021 to 16.08. 2021.4. The candidates are advised to visit the above websites from time to time for latest information
(updates) relating to entrance test/admission.5. The eligibility, syllabus for the trades and exam is provided in the website
http://nimionlineadmission.in6. The candidate can select any entrance examination center(mentioned in Annexure-I) as per his/her
convenience and indicate his/her preferences. Exam centers might change based on the number of candidates applied for the particular center. If very few candidates have opted for an Exam center, alternate available center will beprovided.7. The allotment of seat in an institute will be finalized by respective Institute during counseling solely
on the basis of merit(marks secured in the AICET)and as per the choices mentioned by the candidate in his application as well as considering the reservation norms.8. If as per merit, the candidate's preferred seats (choices in application) are not ǀacant, he/she will be
offered seat wherever available.9. No transfer request for admission will beentertained.
10. Only those candidates who have appeared and qualified in the AICET -2021 as per merit are eligible in
NSTIs &IToTs for CITS admission
11. No walk in/ direct admission will be entertained outside the merit list of AICET in any of the Institues.
